General Rules of Chinese Uppercase Numbers
- When there is a "0" in the middle of lowercase numbers, "zero" is generally written in uppercase.
- When there are several consecutive "0"s in lowercase numbers, generally only one "zero" is written in uppercase, sometimes several "zero"s are written.
- When the end of lowercase numbers is "0", generally "zero" is not written in uppercase, sometimes several "zero"s are written.
- When the yuan digit of lowercase numbers is "0", or when there are several consecutive "0"s in the middle of numbers, and the yuan digit is also "0" but the jiao digit is not "0", the uppercase amount can only write one "zero" character, or not write "zero" character.
- When the yuan and jiao digits of lowercase numbers are "0", but the fen digit is not "0", only one "zero" character is written in uppercase.
- When the uppercase amount number ends at "yuan", "whole" (or "zheng") should be written after "yuan". "Whole" (or "zheng") may not be written after "jiao".
- If the number has "fen", "whole" (or "zheng") is not written after "fen".
