The Net Salary Calculator estimates how much salary remains after individual income tax, employee social insurance contributions, and housing fund deductions.
How It Works
This calculator uses China resident salary income as the default model:
- Annual standard deduction: CNY 60,000
- Progressive comprehensive income tax brackets: 3% to 45%
- Employee social insurance and housing fund deductions
- Optional monthly special additional deductions
Formula
- Annual taxable income = Gross salary - Employee contributions - Standard deduction - Special deductions
- Annual tax = Annual taxable income × Tax rate - Quick deduction
- Monthly take-home pay = Gross monthly salary - Employee contributions - Average monthly tax
Adjustable Inputs
Local rules vary by city and employer policy, so the calculator lets you adjust:
- Social security contribution base
- Housing fund contribution base
- Employee contribution rates
- Employer contribution rates
- Monthly special additional deductions
Notes
This is an estimate for planning and comparison. Final payroll can differ because of local contribution caps, annual tax reconciliation, bonuses, allowances, and other deductible items.
