Angle Converter
An angle is a figure formed by two rays, called the sides of the angle, sharing a common endpoint, called the vertex of the angle. Angles are usually measured in degrees (°), radians (rad), or grads (grad).
Angle Units
There are many different units for measuring angles. The most common are:
- Degree (°): A degree is 1/360 of a full circle.
- Radian (rad): A radian is the angle subtended at the center of a circle by an arc that is equal in length to the radius. There are 2π radians in a full circle.
- Grad (grad): A grad, also known as a gon, is 1/400 of a full circle.
- Minute ('): A minute of arc is 1/60 of a degree.
- Second ("): A second of arc is 1/60 of a minute of arc.
