Free Online MBTI Personality Test

This free online MBTI-style personality test helps you discover your four-letter personality type in a few minutes. Based on the Myers-Briggs framework, it measures four preference dimensions — Extraversion vs. Introversion, Sensing vs. Intuition, Thinking vs. Feeling, and Judging vs. Perceiving — and combines them into one of 16 personality types such as INFP, ENTJ, or ISTJ. No registration is needed, nothing is uploaded, and the quiz runs entirely in your browser.

How to Use

  1. Answer each question: Read the statement and choose option A or B — the one that feels more natural, not what you wish you were.
  2. Move through the quiz: Your answer takes you to the next question automatically; use the Back button to change an earlier answer.
  3. Read your result: After the last question you get your four-letter type, the type name, a short description, and percentage bars showing how strongly you leaned on each dimension.

What the Four Dimensions Mean

  • E – I (Extraversion vs. Introversion): Where you direct your energy — toward the outer world of people and activity, or the inner world of thoughts and reflection.
  • S – N (Sensing vs. Intuition): How you take in information — through concrete facts and details, or through patterns and possibilities.
  • T – F (Thinking vs. Feeling): How you make decisions — by objective logic, or by values and how choices affect people.
  • J – P (Judging vs. Perceiving): How you deal with the outside world — preferring plans and structure, or flexibility and keeping options open.

Frequently Asked Questions

How accurate is a 24-question test? This is a quick, fun screening version, not the official MBTI® instrument. With six questions per dimension it gives a useful indication, but longer tests are more reliable.

My result was 50/50 on a dimension. What does that mean? It means you sit close to the middle on that preference. Retaking the test on a different day may flip that letter — that is normal for borderline results.

Can my personality type change? Your core preferences tend to be stable, but scores can shift with mood, age, and life circumstances. Treat the result as a mirror for reflection, not a fixed label.

Note: This test is for self-reflection and entertainment. It is not a scientific diagnosis and should not guide hiring, clinical, or other high-stakes decisions.
