Case Converter

The case converter tool is designed to transform text input into various case formats and normalization options. It allows users to paste or type text into an input area and then apply different transformations to the text with a single click.

Features

  1. UPPER CASE: Converts all characters to capital letters
  2. lower case: Converts all characters to lowercase letters
  3. Title Case: Capitalizes the first letter of words that are not prepositions, conjunctions, or articles with fewer than 4 letters
  4. Sentence case: Capitalizes the first letter at the beginning of each sentence, following conventional sentence structure
  5. Capitalized Case: Capitalizes the first letter of every word, including prepositions, conjunctions, and articles (different from Title Case)
  6. Inverse Case: Switches between uppercase and lowercase for all characters
  7. Normalized with Single Space: Cleans up text by removing extra whitespace, adding single spaces after sentence-ending punctuation (., !, ?), and converting to sentence format without changing case
  8. Normalized with Double Space: Similar to the single space version but adds two spaces after sentence-ending punctuation (for more formal writing)

How to Use

  1. Enter your text in the input field
  2. Select the type of case conversion you want by clicking the corresponding button
  3. Your converted text will appear in the output field
  4. You can copy the output using the copy button, or reset the fields with the reset button

Special Notes

  • For Sentence Case, proper noun limitations mean that names and places will not be automatically capitalized - these require manual adjustments
  • The normalization features preserve line breaks during processing
  • No automatic punctuation is added at sentence ends
